Board Leadership

 The National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) Heartland Chapter cordially invites you to attend our second chapter meeting on February 3, 2005.

The topic for this meeting is Board Leadership and will include the following discussion.

In the wake of governance reforms, boards are increasingly asking:

• What is the recommended model for independent board leadership?
• Who is the leader of the board?
• What are the advantages of a lead director versus a non-executive chairman?

The NACD Heartland Chapter meeting will be from 7:00 a.m.-9:00 a.m., at The Carriage Club, 5301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO.  This meeting is open exclusively to individuals serving as directors on boards.  Costs to attend this meeting will be $20 for NACD members and $30 for non-members.  Breakfast will be served.
